Hi Carol,

here is a rough translation:

Krasnosielec, on 26 January / 7 February 1841. At noon, appeared Wawrzyniec Dąbrowski, age 30, a farmer [can also read peasant] from the village Drążdżewa, along with Piotr Dębek, age 21, and Wojciech Walędziak, age 42, farmers from the same village, and presented to us a male child born yesterday at 6 a.m. from his spouse Marianna born Zduniak, age 25. In the holy baptism performed today, the child was baptized Stanisław, and his godparents were Piotr Dębek and Franciszka Kuśmierczykówna. The present act was read to the illiterate father and witnesses and signed by us.

There are clearly two dates in the record, perhaps the earlier is the date of birth, and the later one the date of baptism.
