It happened in Zgierz on the 21st of December 1841, on the 2nd of January at 6 a.m came Edward Zachert, merchant, resident of Zgierz, 39 years old, in the presence of Wilhelm Blachmann, 47 years old and Karol Fryderyk Moes, 32 years old, both of them residents of Zgierz and merchants; and showed us an infant of feminine sex, born here in Zgierz on the 16th of November 1839. Her mother is Ludwika née Witkowska, 34 years old, wife of Edward Zachert. During baptism, in the presence of enlisted above, the child was given name ,,Paulina’’. Father declares that the child had been baptised and registered before.
This document was read to the witnesses and parents and signed.

Few corrections:

in the document there were used two dates: Old Style and New Style.

It happened on 21 December 1840/January 2nd 1841.

Wilhelm Blachmann's age: 41.

The child was born on November 12th 1839

The father of the child informed that due to his numerous activities, he had not previously baptized the child and the information about the birth was not entered into the church books until now.

This document was read to the declarant and the witnesses.
