I hope that I can find someone that can help me find my ancestors that came from Beuthen(Bytom) area in Poland. It's long and complicated and very hard to find any information, but I do have some. My grandfather was Kurt Kroke, Oberkellner, Gieschestr.41 (Beuthen Stadt, Polen). born on 14th February 1900 in Konigshutte Poland. He was first married in Hindenburg Zaborze (now Zabrze) 25 October 1922 to Anastasia Gertru Brzoza.(born 21 Aug 1900).omegle xender
Now it gets tricky. I think( guess) they had two children- Uschi born in 1931 and Anne Marie( born in 1932) and Anne Marie is my mother! I can't find any birth certificates, but I do know that when the family ended up in Fassburg Germany, declarations were made as to the birth date of Anne Marie. ( I have that document). Now, Kurt remarried in November 1934 to a woman Piechatzek. She was already pregnant and gave birth to Ingeborg on 27 Dec 1934. A DNA comparison from myself and Ingeborg proves she is only a half-sister to Uschi and Anne Marie as her match to me is a second Aunt, not a full aunt.
So, I am looking for information about first wife Anastasia Gertru Kroke (Brzoza). Why did it take 9 years before she had 2 children with Kurt? That would not be normal back in the 1920s/30s!
I have tried looking up the name Kroke, but it seems it is not a very common name and almost no results. Is it a common name from Poland in 1920?
I don't expect any real answers here, but if anyone can help, or point me in the right direction, I would be very happy. Maybe post on a different section in theses forums? And I appreciate that there may be people on here that could help, but perhaps do not understand English and I have no knowledge of Polish, but I do speak some German.

Looking for family Kroke/Brzoza/Piechatzek?
Hi,
maybe they had more kids but they died at birth, or some time later still as kids.
I would look for church records, and check the whole period from 1922-1934.
Unfortunately they are not published yet in polish archives, because the law prohibits publishing such personal data before 100 years had passed...
But this is for Poland only (and maybe some other countries, I am not familiar with their laws) maybe there are any at familysearch or similar places.
And by the way, the rules here require that users sign their posts with at least their first name
